Mrs. Hoyne's Kindergarten
Hello! My name is Maureen Hoyne. I graduated from St. Francis University in 2003 with certification in Elementary and Special Education. In 2007, I completed my Masters of Educational Leadership, also from St. Francis University. I taught special education for the IU 8 from 2003-2006, and then in 2006, I joined the teaching staff at Ebner Elementary School. I taught first grade at Ebner for ten years, and now, I teach kindergarten.
I moved to McAuliffe Heights @ Irving at the start of the 2018-2019 school year. I am so excited to join the MHI family!
I reside in Altoona with my husband, Tom, and our two children, Shannon and James. We have a dog named Shamrock and a cat named Bob.
