Welcome to the Classroom of Mrs. Oakes

I graduated from The Penn State University in 1999 and currently teach Second grade in the Altoona Area School District.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking, reading and traveling to my grandchildrens sporting events. My favorite vacation spot is the beach! I am a huge fan of Penn State sports! I also enjoy the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins Hockey.

I especially love spending quality family time with my three children and four grandchildren.
